Trace For Good, a Paris-based SaaS provider focused on supply chain traceability for consumer goods, has raised €3.5 million in funding. The round was led by Hi inov Dentressangle and Ankaa Ventures, with additional support from CS Ventures and previous backers like Seed4soft.
This funding will support the company’s European expansion and strengthen partnerships with industry leaders like Intertek, a major player in quality assurance and certification.
Enhancing Traceability in Consumer Goods
Founded in 2022 by Léa Gillet and Laura Bréban, the platform helps brands ensure full supply chain traceability with minimal manual effort. By automating data collection and verification, it simplifies compliance management and aids in meeting regulatory standards, such as the AGEC law and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which are essential for sustainable business practices.
Léa Gillet, co-founder of Trace For Good, emphasized the platform’s impact, stating, “Our solution allows brands to achieve end-to-end supply chain transparency, significantly reducing the workload involved in data collection. This funding allows us to expand our technology and meet the increasing demands for traceability across industries.”
Two-Part Platform for Comprehensive Compliance
Trace For Good offers a dual-platform approach to streamline traceability:
- Client Platform – Designed for brands and retailers, it centralizes data from raw materials to finished products, drawing on supplier inputs, external databases, and recognized certifications.
- Traceability Platform – Tailored for suppliers, this platform leverages AI to pre-fill data and identify inconsistencies, enabling faster and more accurate responses to client requests.
The company’s current customer base includes French textile brands like IKKS, Fusalp, and Courir, underscoring its focus on sustainability within the fashion industry.
Investment to Drive Sustainability in Supply Chains
Hi inov, a venture capital fund focused on high-growth tech companies, sees this investment as a strategic move aligned with European regulatory trends pushing for greater product traceability. Managing Partner Wolfgang Krause noted that Trace For Good is “uniquely positioned to support brands in achieving compliance while advancing climate tech innovation.”
With the new capital, Trace For Good is set to expand its reach across Europe, helping brands meet traceability goals, reduce environmental impact, and adapt to an evolving regulatory landscape.
