Île-de-France-based ThePackengers, a specialist in packaging and transporting fragile artworks and collectibles, has raised €14 million in fresh funding.
The round saw participation from existing investors, including Transolution, Weber Investissement, and Reflexion Capital.
Expanding Global Logistics and Tech Capabilities
The new capital will fuel ThePackengers’ growth plans, including:
Upgrading AI-powered systems to improve packaging efficiency and collection processes.
Launching a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) mobile app in 2025 to offer sustainable, quick logistics solutions for individuals and businesses.
Opening new warehouses and logistics centers in Europe and the U.S., including a 12,000 m² automated hub at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Revolutionizing Packaging and Shipping for Unique Items
Founded in 2019 as part of the ESI transport and logistics group, ThePackengers specializes in the secure packaging and global transport of:
- Artworks
- Luxury items
- Collectibles
- Vintage goods
The company partners with prominent auction houses (like Drouot), galleries, antique dealers, interior decorators, and e-commerce platforms, offering customized shipping solutions for fragile items from major hubs in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Madrid, Milan, London, New York, and Los Angeles.
Affordable, Tech-Driven Logistics Solutions
Amaury Chaumet, President of ThePackengers, highlighted the company’s disruptive pricing model:
“In just four years, we’ve become an essential player in the trade of second-life objects. Our technology allows us to offer shipping rates that are 2 to 3 times cheaper than traditional providers, while remaining profitable.”
The company’s flexible pricing model adapts to items without original packaging, making it easier to predict shipping costs for unique, high-value goods.
With this latest funding, ThePackengers is poised to scale its operations, enhance sustainability, and continue redefining logistics for the art and luxury sectors worldwide.
