Steerlab, a Paris-based AI platform focused on automating responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and security questionnaires, has raised €1.7 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Nordic early-stage investor Dreamcraft VC, with participation from Heartfelt_ in Berlin, Lumière AI Ventures, and over 20 angel investors from companies like AWS, Cloudflare, Databricks, and Datadome.
Steerlab’s platform aims to streamline the work of PreSales and security teams by automating 80% of their response time, helping to win more deals. The platform uses advanced AI, including fine-tuned language models and Multi-Modal AI systems, to eliminate manual tasks, allowing teams to focus on more strategic activities like client interactions.

Expanding Operations and International Strategy
With the new funding, Steerlab plans to grow its core engineering team and scale its sales operations, targeting leading tech companies in the US and Europe. Co-founders Rami Iguerwane and Othmane Hamzaoui, who experienced the inefficiencies of responding to RFPs firsthand, aim to transform the PreSales process with fully automated workflows.

Steerlab has also gained support from Station F, the world’s largest startup hub, further validating its potential. Mathilde Lyet, Investment Manager at Dreamcraft Ventures, praised the startup’s rapid iteration and market-focused approach, highlighting its ambition to solve inefficiencies in B2B sales.
