Stuttgart-based Qrago, a healthcare logistics and patient transport software startup, has raised €2.7 million in seed funding to scale operations across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The round was led by āltitude and MobilityFund, with participation from Segenia Capital and capacura.
Optimizing Healthcare Transport with AI
Qrago’s platform streamlines the movement of patients, laboratory samples, and medical materials by offering:
- Real-time tracking for hospital logistics
- Dynamic route planning for patient and sample transport
- Seamless integration with hospital information systems (HIS)
The company currently works with over 200 clinics and 1,700 transport service providers, handling 50,000+ medical transports per month.
Expansion & Strategic Partnerships
With this funding, the company plans to:
- Expand into Austria and Switzerland
- Scale its logistics services beyond patient transport
- Develop large-scale hospital network logistics
Qrago also announced new partnerships with Uber (for medical transport) and Debeka (a leading health insurance provider) to enhance its service offerings and platform reach.
Securing Data Protection & Compliance
The startup has achieved C5 certification from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), ensuring it meets the highest security standards for cloud-based healthcare services.
Managing Director Alexander Kunze emphasized the company’s vision:
