A Smarter Approach to Wealth Management
Founded by Nick Perrett and chaired by Ricky Knox (co-founder of Tandem Bank), Prosper is an AI-powered wealth management platform that offers:
- Pensions, investments, and savings with transparent and low fees.
- Access to competitive cash savings and 30 index funds from top asset managers.
- Zero platform or transaction fees, ensuring long-term value for members.
Unlike traditional wealth managers that rely on high fees and commission-driven sales, Prosper leverages AI to provide personalized financial advice at scale.
Nick Perrett, CEO of Prosper, emphasized the need for change:
“For too long, wealth management has been plagued by high fees, outdated technology, and self-serving advisors. We’re changing that by making financial planning smarter, fairer, and more accessible.”
Investor Confidence and Growth Plans
The latest funding follows the startup’s angel round, which attracted investors such as the founders of Monzo, Capital One, World First, Tandem, Azimo, Embark, ComplyAdvantage, and institutional backers including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Connect Ventures, MMC Ventures, and Portfolio Ventures.
With the new capital, Prosper plans to:
- Expand its customer base, targeting high-net-worth individuals and professionals.
- Launch private market investment offerings, providing access to exclusive financial products.
- Enhance its AI capabilities, improving financial planning automation.
