Textile Impact Firm Syre from Sweden secures €92.2M shortly after Launch
Stockholm-based Syre, a textile impact company founded by Vargas Holding and H&M Group earlier this year, has secured $100 million (approximately €92.2 million) in a Series A funding round. This significant investment underscores Syre's commitment to revolutionizing the textile industry through sustainable practices.
Enifer, a biotech startup based in Espoo, Finland, has successfully raised €36 million in funding to establish a food-grade mycoprotein factory in Kirkkonummi. This facility will convert food industry by-products into Enifer’s sustainable PEKILO mycoprotein, positioning it as the world’s first commercial plant to produce mycoprotein from sidestream raw materials.
