Chicago-based Nerdio, a cloud management platform that simplifies Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment, has raised $500 million in Series C funding to expand its AI-powered enterprise solutions.

The round was led by General Atlantic, with participation from Lead Edge Capital and Stepstone Group, securing a minority stake in the company.

Nerdio provides automated cloud infrastructure management for companies using Microsoft Azure, Windows 365, and Microsoft 365, offering:
