Indian industrial tech startup Infinite Uptime has secured $35 million in Series C funding to expand its AI-driven predictive maintenance solutions and accelerate U.S. market growth.

The round was led by Avataar Ventures, with participation from StepStone Group, LGVP, Tiger Global, and GSR Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to $65 million since its launch in 2015.

Optimizing Factory Equipment with AI-Powered Predictive Maintenance

Infinite Uptime leverages proprietary sensors, AI analytics, and real-time monitoring to help factories:

  • Predict and prevent equipment failures before they happen.
  • Optimize operational efficiency by reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Improve energy efficiency and compliance through real-time diagnostics.

CEO Raunak Bhinge emphasized the impact:
“We provide manufacturers with pinpointed intervention points, telling them exactly which assets need attention and when.”oel called the round “preemptive,” noting strong investor interest despite not urgently needing capital.

Targeting Heavy Industries with High-Temperature AI Diagnostics

Infinite Uptime specializes in industries with complex, high-temperature environments, including:

  • Steel, cement, and mining
  • Fertilizers, chemicals, and paper manufacturing

The company has also developed piezoelectric sensors, capable of diagnosing machines in acidic and high-heat environments where traditional sensors fail. It currently serves 800 plants across 30 countries.

Competing in the Industrial AI Space

While large players like Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Honeywell already provide AI-based automation, Infinite Uptime differentiates itself by:

  • Offering a bottom-up approach, unlike competitors relying on programmable logic controllers (PLC).
  • Providing AI-driven maintenance tailored for extreme environments where other solutions struggle.

Expanding U.S. Presence & Scaling AI Capabilities

With this new funding, Infinite Uptime plans to:

  • Expand its U.S. operations, strengthening partnerships with major manufacturers.
  • Explore M&A opportunities to accelerate its tech and market expansion.
  • Invest in AI and data science to further enhance predictive analytics.

Bhinge highlighted the company’s rapid growth:

  • 2x revenue growth YoY for the last three years.
  • Operational cash-flow positivity, positioning it for sustainable expansion.

With $35M in fresh capital, Infinite Uptime is reshaping industrial maintenance, helping manufacturers reduce downtime, boost efficiency, and transition toward smarter factories.
