Fuchs & Eule, a Berlin-based startup dedicated to enabling homeowners to make their homes energy efficient, has successfully closed a multi-million Euro Series A funding round.

The investment, led by Amsterdam-based SET Ventures, with contributions from Realyze Ventures and Picus Capital, aims to capitalize on the growing demand for green home renovations.

The exact amount of the investment remains undisclosed, but the funding marks a significant step for Fuchs & Eule in its mission to contribute to the decarbonization challenge, particularly in the building sector, which is one of the largest fossil energy consumers.

Dr. Till Stenzel, Partner at SET Ventures, praised Fuchs & Eule for creating a product that facilitates mass-market adoption of energetic home renovations. “We are beyond excited to work with the team around Robin Behlau, Tobias Frese, Friso Zimmermann, and Lina Adrian,” Stenzel stated.

Robin Behlau, founder and CEO of Fuchs & Eule, highlighted the importance of the partnership with SET and Realyze in navigating regulatory challenges and expressed confidence in the company’s customer experience. “With this funding, we’re ready for even more,” Behlau added.

Revolutionizing Energy Renovations

Fuchs & Eule operates as an independent energy renovation advisor in the residential building sector, leveraging a comprehensive property database and a team of experienced energy advisors. The company’s digital platform creates digital twins of homes, simulates renovation options, finds funding solutions, and crafts personalized renovation roadmaps, connecting customers with suitable craftsmen and financing options.

Since pivoting to energy renovations in 2022, Fuchs & Eule has completed over 2,000 renovations in Germany, saving an average of 6.7 tons of CO2 per building. The company has grown to over 100 employees and aims to address the 16 million homes in Germany in need of refurbishment to maintain their value and realize potential savings on future energy costs.

With the support of SET Ventures, Realyze Ventures, and Picus Capital, Fuchs & Eule is poised to expand its impact in making homes more energy-efficient and contributing to the global effort to combat climate change.
