Revolutionizing POS and Payment Solutions

Founded in 2022 by Sander Janca-Jensen, Rasmus Busk, Rasmus Hellmund Carlsen, and Peter Lüth, Flatpay aims to streamline card payments for SMEs with a transparent pricing model that eliminates hidden fees. This approach offers a flat rate for all card transactions without requiring a monthly subscription, simplifying financial operations for small businesses.

Currently operating in Denmark, Finland, and Germany, Flatpay’s goal is to become a trusted business partner in optimizing payment processes and supporting business growth across multiple regions.

Enhancing Operational Capabilities and Market Reach

The Flatpay platform includes a payment terminal that facilitates efficient and cost-effective card payments and an all-in-one POS system that enhances payments, product management, and sales analytics across industries. This system is designed to help businesses improve their performance and maintain a competitive edge by using the latest technology and analytics tools.

Marika King, Head of PINC, praised Flatpay’s innovative approach: “Their results are impressive. Food security matters to all of us, and the Flatpay team can speed up solutions for payments in several areas with their platform, and also for other markets in the future.”

Investment and Growth Strategy

The investors, including Dawn Capital and Seed Capital, bring significant expertise and resources. Dawn Capital, a B2B software investor with over $2B in commitments, supports founders from early stages through growth rounds, focusing on creating “category-defining” companies. Seed Capital, Denmark’s largest venture capital fund within the seed segment, provides extensive management guidance and operational support to its portfolio companies.

This strategic funding round positions the fintech to scale its technological innovations and market presence significantly, ultimately enhancing how SMEs manage and process payments globally.
