French startup Faks, which streamlines business operations for pharmacies, laboratories, and pharmacy associations, has raised €6 million in a round led by Speedinvest, with participation from Seedcamp, Connect Ventures, and FJ Labs.

The funding will support R&D expansion, AI-driven automation, and European market growth.

Optimizing Pharmacy Operations with AI

The platform serves 17,000 pharmacies, 500 laboratories, and 130 pharmacy associations, centralizing supplier interactions and automating inventory, promotions, and post-sales operations.

Speedinvest Principal Wissam Nasreddine highlighted the need for efficiency:
“With pharmacies diversifying their services, they have little time for back-office operations. Faks’ AI-driven platform reduces their administrative burden, allowing them to focus on patient care.”

Addressing Fragmentation in the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain

Currently, pharmacies deal with 100+ suppliers, each with different systems, forcing staff to rely on emails, handwritten notes, and spreadsheets for stock management and promotions. The startup eliminates this inefficiency by providing a neutral, centralized platform.

Founded in 2020 by Corentin Geoffray and Félix Pignard, the firm operates independently from associations and labs, ensuring unbiased post-sales management, claims processing, and expired product handling. Today, 85% of French pharmacies use Faks’ platform.

Scaling AI and Expanding Across Europe

With the new funding, Faks will:

  • Double its R&D team from 7 to 15 employees.
  • Enhance AI-driven automation for pharmacy operations.
  • Expand into Spain and Italy to accelerate European growth.

CEO Corentin Geoffray emphasized the company’s mission:
“After uniting key industry players on a single platform, we’re now investing heavily in automation so pharmacies can focus on what truly matters—patient care.”

With €6M in fresh capital, Faks is set to redefine pharmacy supply chain management, making operations faster, smarter, and more efficient for healthcare professionals across Europe.
