The acquisition aims to enhance Drata’s governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) offerings, as businesses increasingly prioritize security transparency in a cloud-driven world.

Drata helps companies adhere to industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, while SafeBase streamlines security questionnaire automation—a critical process for enterprise software vendors.
The acquisition allows SafeBase to:
- Continue operating as a standalone product
- Integrate its core solutions into Drata’s security compliance platform
- Scale its AI-driven security questionnaire automation
