Dublin-based startup Coras, known for its innovative ticketing solutions, has raised €1.3 million in a funding round led by VC firm DataOp. This investment will help Coras scale its ticketing API product and roll out its newly launched Web3 loyalty platform, Fida.
The firm from Dublin provides a turnkey API that allows travel and e-commerce companies to sell tickets for various events, including music, sports, and tourist attractions. The platform consolidates multiple ticketing systems into a single API, making it easier for businesses to sell tickets across different geographies. Currently, Coras operates in 50 countries, covering 300 cities and offering services in 20 languages and currencies.
Fida: A New Approach to Loyalty
In addition to enhancing its ticketing platform, the startup has launched Fida, a Web3 loyalty platform designed to facilitate tokenized commerce. This platform enables customers to use their loyalty points across multiple brands, providing a more flexible and engaging rewards experience.
Strong Backing from DataOp
The funding round was led by DataOp, a venture capital firm focused on data optimization and AI technologies. DataOp’s investment in Coras reflects its confidence in the startup’s resilience and potential for growth, especially after navigating challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.
