Copenhagen-based Capra Robotics, a company specializing in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), has raised €11.3 million in a seed funding round.
The investment was co-led by Supernova Invest and Promus Ventures, with support from Summiteer and EIFO – Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund.
Bridging Innovation and Application
Founded in 2019, Capra Robotics develops versatile mobile robots designed to assist industries including logistics, inspection, and urban maintenance. Capra’s robots operate seamlessly across indoor and outdoor environments, enabling automation of tasks such as:
- Material handling.
- Perimeter inspection and control.
- Urban infrastructure maintenance.
The company aims to address challenges such as labor shortages, rising costs, and the need for improved operational efficiency.
CEO Niels Jul Jacobsen stated:

Scaling and Global Reach
Capra Robotics plans to use the funding to:

Since the launch of its first product in 2023, Capra has gained notable clients, including Lockheed Martin, Robert Bosch, ZF Friedrichshafen, Deutsche Telekom, and the US Air Force. The company recently established Capra Robotics Inc., its US subsidiary, to prepare for large-scale deployments across North America.
