Arbolus, a London-based expert insights platform, has raised €18.9 million in growth equity funding.
The round was led by Kayne Anderson Partners Fund V, with participation from Composition Capital. The investment will accelerate the expansion in the US market and support the development of new products aimed at disrupting the expert network industry.
Digitizing Human Knowledge for Business Insights
Founded in 2018 by Sam Glasswell and Will Leeming, the firm aims to make expert insights more accessible and actionable. The platform offers tools such as Arbolus Canopy, an asynchronous video Q&A solution, and Arbolus Insights, a resource for engaging hard-to-reach B2B audiences. These innovations enable clients to gather tailored insights and conduct efficient market research.
Since its previous funding round, the startup has doubled its revenue and expanded its team to 180 members. CEO Sam Glasswell commented, “By focusing on customer needs, we’ve developed innovative products like Canopy, which continue to gain traction. This funding positions us to build the leading expert insights platform.”
Growth and Investment Impact
The funds will be used to strengthen Arbolus’s US operations, scale its product offerings, and support ongoing innovation in the expert insights sector. Leon Chen of Composition Capital highlighted the company’s impact: “The unique approach addresses a critical gap in the industry, combining rapid growth with a compelling vision for the future.”
