Switzerland-based Albatross, an AI personalization startup founded by former Amazon AI leaders, has raised €3 million in a funding round led by redalpine, with participation from Daphni.

The investment will enable the firm to enhance user engagement in sectors like e-commerce, media, and online marketplaces, driving conversions and revenue growth through AI-driven personalization.

Albatross offers real-time personalization solutions by using AI to adapt user journeys dynamically. The platform tailors product recommendations and adjusts how content is presented, providing fresh and relevant suggestions. Unlike traditional recommendation systems, the startup moves beyond popular items, unlocking the full potential of product catalogs and boosting user engagement. Its AI-driven approach replaces manual A/B testing, using advanced technologies like deep learning and reinforcement learning to optimize experiences in real-time.

Redalpine, a major investor in European tech companies like N26, Klarna, and Taxfix, sees significant potential in Albatross.
