The funding round, led by CMPC Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of one of the world’s largest pulp and paper producers, CMPC, was oversubscribed by more than 25%. The Series seed included investment from CiRi Ventures, MAIF Avenir Ventures, Teampact Ventures, Climate Insiders, Core Angels, Savia Ventures, Family Offices, and corporate venture capitals Symbia VC, FINSA, and VX Ventures.
Expanding Operations and R&D
The Madrid-based startup plans to use the investment to double in size and build an industrial manufacturing facility. The funds will also support new hires, strengthen R&D and product development capabilities, and establish a full manufacturing team.
