Calgary-based Quack, a startup founded by former Klue sales reps, has secured $500,000 CAD in pre-seed funding to develop its AI-powered cold-calling platform.

The round was led by Metiquity Ventures, which contributed $400,000, alongside angel investors.

Solving the Cold Calling Bottleneck

Quack, co-founded by Taylor Del Giudice (CEO), Jacob DiCarlo (COO), and Amin Safavi (CTO), aims to:

  • Sync call data with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Outreach, and SalesLoft.
  • Reduce wait times by allowing sales reps to call up to four prospects simultaneously.
  • Automate voicemail detection to skip unanswered calls faster.

Early Traction & Growth Plans

  • Over 1 million dials made using the startup’s platform.
  • Hundreds of SDRs from companies like Suzy, Moengage, and Ontop are already using it.
  • Plans to expand AI-driven analytics and enhance dialing technology.

Metiquity Ventures’ Bryan Slauko praised the company’s potential:
