AI infrastructure startup TrueFoundry has raised $19 million in Series A funding, led by Intel Capital, to expand its AI deployment and optimization platform for enterprises.
The round also saw participation from Eniac Ventures, Peak XV Partners, and Jump Capital, alongside angel investors Gokul Rajaram, Mohit Aron, and Cyan Banister.
Streamlining Enterprise AI Deployments
Founded in 2021 by former Meta engineers Nikunj Bajaj, Abhishek Choudhary, and Anuraag Gutgutia, TrueFoundry provides a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution designed to help enterprises deploy and manage AI models at scale.
With generative AI (GenAI) adoption growing, enterprises face high compute costs and complexity in managing GPU resources. TrueFoundry addresses this with features like:
- Auto-scaling to optimize GPU usage dynamically.
- Real-time monitoring for AI applications.
- Centralized access control for security and compliance.
- An AI-powered autopilot system that fine-tunes model deployment, adjusting GPU needs and memory allocation automatically.
Co-Founder Anuraag Gutgutia emphasized the platform’s impact:
“Previously, data scientists relied on ML engineers for deployment. Our system enables them to build, test, and scale AI applications independently—streamlining the entire process.”
Trusted by Industry Leaders
The company serves 30+ enterprise customers, including:
- Nvidia, using TrueFoundry to optimize GPU clusters.
- ResMed, a med-tech company leveraging the platform for AI-powered diagnostics.
- Siemens Healthineers, Automation Anywhere, Games24x7, and Whatfix, all using the tools for large-scale AI deployments.
TrueFoundry’s software is multi-cloud compatible, running on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, as well as on-premises. Clients have built internal AI platforms in just two months, compared to the industry average of 14 months, while reducing infrastructure costs by 40-50%.
Expansion Plans with Fresh Funding
With this new capital, the startup plans to:
- Expand its U.S. presence, hiring for sales, customer success, and product marketing roles.
- Strengthen cloud partnerships, launching in the AWS Marketplace.
- Introduce an AI-powered assistant to recommend resources and automate troubleshooting.
Since its $2.3 million seed round in 2022, TrueFoundry has quadrupled its customer base and deployed over 1,000 AI clusters. The company is now generating $1.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and aims to double it in 2025.
Competing in the AI Infrastructure Race
While Amazon SageMaker and Google Vertex AI offer similar tools, TrueFoundry differentiates itself by providing:
- Faster time-to-market for AI applications.
- Lower compute costs with AI-driven scaling.
- Seamless enterprise integrations across industries.
With $21M+ in total funding, TrueFoundry is poised to become a major player in enterprise AI deployment, helping companies scale AI applications efficiently while reducing infrastructure overhead.
