Toronto-based Reactiv, an AI-powered mobile commerce platform, has emerged from stealth mode with $7 million CAD in seed funding.
The round was led by Bonfire Ventures and included support from U.S.-based investors such as Foxe Capital, Anthemis Group, Daher Capital, and Alumni Ventures. Founded by Michael Pezzi, Vikash Jha, and Shopify alumni Ross Correia and Zack Elias, Reactiv aims to streamline mobile app creation and engagement for e-commerce brands.
Revolutionizing Mobile Commerce with AI
The startup provides a no-code app builder, allowing e-commerce merchants to convert existing websites into mobile apps with AI-powered features, boosting engagement and sales. Its standout tool, Reactiv Clips, enables in-app experiences through ads or social posts without requiring app downloads. Notable clients include Campmor, Top of the Mornin’ Coffee, and Canadian brand FragranceBuy. The platform is available in the Shopify app store, offering pricing tiers from $499 to $4,999 monthly.
Building in Canada with a Global Vision
Despite its Canadian roots, Reactiv opted for U.S. investors to meet its growth ambitions, citing limited Canadian interest in large-scale e-commerce innovation. The funds will support expanding the engineering team, further developing Clips, and integrating more AI-driven capabilities.
With demand for mobile commerce solutions on the rise, the founders are committed to building impactful, world-changing tech from Canada, attracting a strong waitlist and early revenue momentum.
