Treble Technologies from Iceland bags €11M to advance Cloud-Based Sound Simulation Platform

Reykjavik-based Treble Technologies, specializing in sound simulation technology, has raised €11 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the European Investment Bank, Omega Venture Partners, and strategic partners like St. Gobain and L-Acoustics.

Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Dr. Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, Treble Technologies has developed the world’s first cloud-based sound simulation platform. The platform allows for accurate sound simulations in industries ranging from buildings and automotive to immersive reality, offering speed and cost savings over traditional solutions. Within a year of its launch, the platform is already used by leading global companies across various sectors.

Expanding Innovation in Audio Technology

The funding will be used to scale Treble’s team, enhance R&D, and expand into new markets. Treble’s mission is to create better-sounding environments, improving health, well-being, and productivity. “Our goal is to provide the tools necessary to make the world a better-sounding and less noisy place,” said Dr. Finnur Pind, CEO of Treble Technologies.

Investor Confidence and Market Potential

KOMPAS VC, known for backing innovative solutions in built environments and manufacturing, highlighted Treble’s market potential. Sebastian Peck, Partner at KOMPAS, emphasized Treble’s role in leading the way to a healthier, sustainable sound environment, praising their innovative approach to product prototyping and testing.
