Deepc from Germany bags €11.9M to enhance AI Radiology Platform

Munich-based deepc, a company specializing in AI operating systems for radiologists and clinical organizations, has closed a €11.9 million ($13 million) Series A extension round, bringing its total funding to €27.6 million ($30 million). The round was co-led by Sofinnova Partners and Bertelsmann Investments, with new investors KHP Ventures and SwissHealth Ventures joining existing backer Winning Mindset Ventures.

Deepc aims to bridge the gap between advanced AI technologies and clinical practice. Their AI operating system, deepcOS, allows radiologists and clinical organizations to integrate over 60 regulatory-approved AI solutions through a single platform. This integration simplifies the deployment of AI in clinical settings, making it more accessible and practical.

Expansion Plans

The newly raised funds will be used to accelerate deepc’s growth and expand its international presence, focusing on the United States, the United Kingdom, and key European markets. Dr. Franz Pfister, CEO and co-founder of deepc, emphasized the company’s mission: “We believe that AI’s potential in healthcare will be realized by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI and clinical practice, enabling faster, more accurate diagnoses and improving patient outcomes.”
